Residential Architecture in Campanar, Valencia
In the heart of one of the city’s expanding areas, near the Bioparc, stands one of SETANTA Arquitectura’s most emblematic residential projects. Commissioned by the developer Disfruta Attikos Uno, the challenge was to design a modern, efficient apartment building with a façade that would leave a lasting impression.
The result: a building recognised by Levante-EMV as one of Valencia’s most distinctive façades and featured in the Saint-Gobain Placo catalogue as an example of innovative construction and cutting-edge design.
A Façade Inspired by the Mediterranean
The design of this building follows a clear premise: to make the most of Valencia’s climate and light. Large terraces take centre stage, connecting interior and exterior spaces and providing each apartment with a private area suitable for greenery.
The protruding cubes, finished in deeper tones, add rhythm, individuality, and a play of volumes that make the building recognisable from any angle. All of this is framed within a light, Mediterranean-inspired palette.
High-Quality Materials and Construction Efficiency
The façade was built using zero-brick technology, ensuring top-level thermal and acoustic performance with virtually no maintenance. The degree of industrialisation in the construction process was crucial to reduce timelines and increase precision:
- The façade panels were factory-moulded with integrated anchoring systems, simplifying on-site assembly.
- The metal cubes with oxidised finishes were fabricated off-site and installed fully finished on the façade.
This approach demonstrates how technical innovation can coexist seamlessly with architectural aesthetics.
A Building that Engages with Its Surroundings
From the outside, the façade conveys modernity, elegance, and technology, while remaining harmonious with the urban environment. Inside, the layouts were designed to maximise comfort, optimise space use, and enhance residents’ quality of life.
At SETANTA, we believe a building is a whole: its exterior must serve the life experienced within.
